Unfortunately, I see people limiting themselves in hypnosis the same way they limit their life experiences. Limitation occurs by the acceptance of negative beliefs surrounding the experience. Most of the time people don’t even realize they are harboring these negative beliefs, as they are stored deep in the subconscious mind by repeated exposure to false information or programming from society and those we consider authorities. Until these individuals let go of their fear and negative beliefs, they will not achieve hypnosis and access their higher selves. The part of us that is truly wise and omnipotent.

It’s true that what you believe creates limitations. All beliefs are in fact limitations. How do I know when I’m in hypnosis?

So basically I’ll have a client in my office, sitting in the chair, with their mind closed. They are the reason nothing is happening. It’s not that they need magic words, special music, a specific deepening technique or a certain way to sit. A person can go through all those things and that’s not really what they need.

All you need to do is go to that quiet, peaceful place in your mind with an intent. But have a realistic intent. You are not going to lose 10 kilos in a 90-minute hypnosis session. What if I don’t know how to achieve my goal?
